King's Row Map Tier List - Best Hero Rankings - July 2016 Edition

King's Row is a map where many attacking teams end up stuck in the first zone and never quite make it to the escort phase of the map. It features sharp corners and an excellent turtling zone with a health relic sitting in a nice enclosed safe zone. Meanwhile, even they do make it out, the final portion of the escort map can still prove to be quite troublesome as a result of the distance from the spawn point, making Mercy a top pick here on attack.

SEASON 1 - JUNE 30TH PATCH TIER LIST
King's Row Hybrid Map

Introduction

King's Row is a map where many attacking teams end up stuck in the first zone and never quite make it to the escort phase of the map. It features sharp corners and an excellent turtling zone with a health relic sitting in a nice enclosed safe zone.

Meanwhile, even they do make it out, the final portion of the escort map can still prove to be quite troublesome as a result of the distance from the spawn point, making Mercy a top pick here on attack.

General Tips

  1. The first control point is extremely easy to defend unless the enemy team has either excellent coordination or a very good Hanzo + Tank setup.
  2. If you want to flank with Reaper or Tracer, make sure your tanks are already pulling turret aggro, otherwise Torbjorn's turret will quickly rip you apart before you can get in range.

Explanations

Tracer [God Tier] -
If you can get Tracer into a flanking position while the enemies are concentrated on the primary direction, she can absolutely wreck havoc. Just beware of Torb's turrets and try and wait for them to focus in on your tank.

Hanzo [Tier 1] - Hanzo is an ideal second round pick if your first six man push does not work out. He does much better than Widowmaker (unless you're just THAT good at Widowmaker) since his peek shots are very effective against stationed enemies, and his ultimate can rip apart turrets from behind the wall.

Defending Tier List

God Tier [Optimal Picks]:

SupportLucio, Symmetra

Tier 3 [Subpar Picks]:
Offense
Defense
Tank
SupportZenyatta

Explanations

Symmetra [God Tier] -
Symmetra's turrets can easily cover flankers like Tracer from entering from the side while your main defender guard the frontal chokepoint. Additionally, if you manage to defend the point for long enough and put up her teleporter ultimate, it's almost a guaranteed win from defense as a result of the difficult most teams have penetrating the starting zone.
