Thoughts on Changes

Many people often complain that Torbjorn is overwhelmingly strong when they first start out playing the game, whereas higher level players start to find him less powerful as time goes on. The major reason for this is that with improved aim, Torbjorn;s auto-aiming turret is less powerful in comparison.

The main reason that the nerf is targeted at console and not PC is because console players are generally less accurate than PC players as a result of the less sensitive controls. This makes the auto-aim from the turret feel too accurate in comparison.

Torbjorn Counters

For players that are still having trouble against Torb, his major counters are as follows:

Widowmaker/Pharah - If you can get a line of sight onto Torb from long range, his turrets are completely immobile and can be shot down from outside of their effective range. This is generally the prefered fool-proof method of taking them down.

Reaper/Tracer - When you are up against a crafty Torb who uses his turrets to block off choke points, heroes with fast gap closers and dodging abilities like Reaper and Tracer can also be used to either take out the turret or Torb before his turrets can target them.
